Jeremy Witherspoon is down from Joplin Missouri where he owns Freaky Tiki Tattoo. He was planning on a two week stay but just may be spending the summer with us in Texoma, laying down sick ink all summer long. He loves realism and can handle anything you throw at him. Don’t miss your chance for some out of state ink with out the drive.

Mike is now looking to advance his piercing skills and start doing industrials, daiths, rooks, septums, tongues, etc… He’s become a very efficient piercer with his current line up and just needs to practice different placements. If your willing he will do it for just the cost of jewelry and I (Rickey) will be on hand to assist.

I have been branching out and doing more and more realism. Lots of in progress pieces currently going on (viewable on facebook) and more coming soon. Currently I’m itching to do a few specific pieces, such as Charles Manson portrait, Hunter S. Thompson portrait, some sick over the top floral pieces, and possibly some horror film portraits. First of all Tattoo Bob has joined the MD Crew. He’s still rocking out the old school and just flat out refusing to retire, but that’s why we love him!

Yesterday Big Ray & Julie, Texoma’s famous husband and wife duo moved their equipment in and joined the crew as well. They start working today, Friday the 30th, and would love for everyone that knows them to come by and say hi, and for everyone that doesn’t to come by and meet them. They will be added to the website very soon.

Anyways, last Thursday I was being an idiot and riding my friend Josh Shipp’s Harley, even though I knew it didn’t know how to ride it very well, lol, and I laid it over and broke my freakin’ leg. I snapped the last 3 inches of my fibula off. But the doc thinks it will heal because it’s not displaced. But I can’t tattoo or pierce for a couple of weeks until this is healed because if I put weight on it I will have to get surgery, which I do not want, obviously.

So to make up for me not piercing right now I will be throwing hell of cheap deals when I’m back at it. So save your money and bring it to me in a couple of weeks! If you just can’t wait that long check out my buddies over at Love n Hate.

Anyways, it’s slow season, I know everybody is waiting on their income tax checks for ink but now is the time for some seriously sweet deals on ink, so come in and talk to your preferred artist and get something drawn up on the spot. Later!

Suites C and B are basically done other than some fine tuning and hanging art/decor. Suite A is ripped apart right now and as I type this Howdy is laying the tile in the missing spots. The tile doesn’t match because this floor’s tile is super old and it’s not made any more, but after a few months of business go by we’ll be installing nice wood floors across the entire shop. Which is going to look killer.

Building this shop has been the largest amount of stress I’ve ever endured, and I hope it works out because if not I’m in the hole A LOT of money, lol. But with the team of artist I have assembled I don’t think there will be an issue. Gone are the days of only one or two good artist per shop and the rest being crap, we have nothing but amazing artist that not only tattoo but draw, paint, do graphic design, etc…

Some of the things that will be available for purchase here will be paintings and drawings (originals and prints) from a wide variety of artist, some in house tattoo artist, and some not, including lots of Jayce Cogburns Woogylar paintings, and tons more. We’ll even be carrying custom painted shoes, unique one of a kind pairs never to be reproduced again. On that same note we will have a line of plugs, or “gauges” if that floats your boat, that are 100% custom and you will never see anyone else with them, period. We will of course stock the old favorites and mass produced ones as well, because not everyone wants to pay for custom work, especially if your just at that size temporarily.

But stop by and check us out, we’re not open yet and not done yet either, but we love to show off what we have done so far. If you remember the old Tribal Nations that was here, you won’t even recognize it when you walk in. We de-tribaled this place as fast as we could….cause you know….that place sucked….lol.
