Modified is Looking to Hire an Artist

We are finally looking for a fourth artist to add to our team. We are turning away too much business because we just simply can’t get to them all. We are not going to hire just anybody so if you do not have a strong portfolio, work ethic, and a level of professionalism required to work at a nice shop then please do not waste our time or your own. Shop experience is a must, as well as being drug free and having your own transportation. You can contact Rickey, the owner, by email at rickey@modified-design.com. We vote as a team on all new employees so we are definitely looking for someone that clicks with the whole crew, and is a team player. It’s a laid back environment so if you are uptight please don’t contact us.

New Artist

We have been crazy busy lately so it was time to hire another artist. Tyler Sloan is back from Austin and now tattooing at Modified Design. Come see him or call for an appointment.

It’s busy season and that means making an appointment is more important than usual. On the weekends walk ins usually have to wait an hour or more due to the volume of clients. But hey…when your good people wait, right? But if you don’t want to wait then please come in and put down a deposit to hold your spot on the day you want and you won’t be waiting at all.

As always we appreciate your business and can’t wait to see you in the shop.

This is going to be a great year for Modified Design. We’re going to keep putting out the finest work possible, and keep updating our studio even more. We never stop improving the environment we work in, and our customers tell us all the time how much they love the “vibe” of the shop. It’s positive, creative, and comfortable.

We are excited to see all the return customers and new customers alike this year. We had an unbelievable first year in business and we know the second year is going to be just as rewarding. Thanks to everyone who stopped by in 2010, we really appreciate it.

The shop is just blowing up so we’ve added even more artist to please YOU.

First of all Tattoo Bob has joined the MD Crew. He’s still rocking out the old school and just flat out refusing to retire, but that’s why we love him!

Yesterday Big Ray & Julie, Texoma’s famous husband and wife duo moved their equipment in and joined the crew as well. They start working today, Friday the 30th, and would love for everyone that knows them to come by and say hi, and for everyone that doesn’t to come by and meet them. They will be added to the website very soon.

Jeremy Witherspoon, an artist from Joplin, Mo that is laying out some amazing ink, even color portraits, will be guest spotting two weeks at a time, once a month for the rest of the summer. Come get tattooed by some fresh blood to this area, come winter your chance is over.

10mm (00g) Dermal Punch on Mike the Apprentice

Just dermal punched Mike’s (my apprentice) right outer conch at 10mm (or 00g if that helps you). He took it like a champ and the punch slipped through so quick. It was fun and bloody! Believe it or not he said it didn’t hurt much. Check out the pics… And yes the last one is exactly what it looks like.
