Studio Information

Modified Design is a brand new shop that stormed into town replacing the old out dated Tribal Nations. We purchased them, shut them down, remodeled the building for a solid month and reopened as a new high end tattoo and body piercing studio, as well as a fine art gallery. We strive to bring forward the best tattoos possible on a daily basis with extreme emphasis on sterilization and cross contamination, because if the shop isn’t immaculate than why work in it? Our artist are versed in all styles, anything from traditional to portraits. We encourage you to let us draw a custom piece for you, but are more than happy to apply flash you pick out as well.

Piercing

As for body piercing our piercer Rickey has 6 years experience, the most in the North Texas, and is accomplished in most forms of body piercing. He performs all the basics, as well as microdermals, surface work, stretching, and more. If your interested in a piercing come talk with Rickey and he will let you know what works best with your body and which jewelry is best suited for you and the area you want pierced. But remember, just because you want it doesn’t mean your body can handle it.

Minor Piercings

We do offer minor piercings for those 15 and up. The parent or guardian of the minor must be present through the whole procedure and present their ID, the minor’s birth certificate (the real thing, not a copy), and the minor must present a state issued ID as well. No a school ID will not work, nor anything other than a state issued ID. If a legal guardian is signing they must present legal paper work showing they are the guardian of said minor. Minors are limited to basic piercings only, meaning no tongues, no surface work, no dermal punches, no microdermals, etc…

Appointments

Appointments for tattoos are preferred but walk ins are more than welcome. On busy days such as Friday or Saturday we recommend making an appointment, especially if you are driving a long distance. Piercing appointments are accepted but not usually necessary, once again though it may be worth it if your driving from far away.
